PN 637---PROHIBITING THE USE OF SMARTPHONES IN SCHOOL [GRADES 6-12]

MOBILE PHONES CARRIED DURING THE EXAM OR ANY OTHER DAY WILL BE CONFISCATED AND NOT RETURNED BACK

Respected Students and Parents,

1.We at Sunrise English Private School understand the need for students to stay connected with their families and maintain a sense of security.

2.The school is committed to ensuring the safety and security of its students. For this reason, it has a comprehensive security system in place to maintain a safe and secure environment for its students.However, it has come to our attention that some students are using their smartphones to engage in activities that are not conducive to their academic learning. Therefore, we would like to inform you that we will no longer permit students to bring smartphones to school.

3. In case your ward has to bring a phone to school for emergency purposes, it should be a basic phone with no advanced functions. We would like to remind you that if your ward is found to be in possession of a smartphone.Even after the issuance of this circular, we would be forced to confiscate it and the phone will not be returned back.

4. PLEASE NOTE THAT IN ORDER TO CARRY A BASIC PHONE, PERMISSION MUST BE TAKEN FROM THE Lead Teacher VIA EMAIL with reason clearly specified for the need to carry the phone to the school.
