PN 664---Invitation to Participate in the 6th Annual COE STEM Programming with AI Competition – 2026 [GRADES 6-12]

Greetings from Sunrise English Private School!

We are pleased to inform you that the College of Engineering, Abu Dhabi University, is organizing the 6th Annual COE STEM Programming with AI Competition, in line with the UAE’s Year of Family initiative.

Competition Theme: AI for Family – AI-Powered Problem-Solving Challenge

The competition aims to encourage students to use Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and programming skills to develop innovative solutions that support family well-being and address everyday needs.

Eligibility and Categories:

• Cycle 2 Track: Grades 6–8 – One problem

• Cycle 3 Track: Grades 9–12 – One advanced problem

• Advanced Track (Champions):Grades 9–12 – One highly advanced problem

Competition Details:

• Date: Thursday, 29 October 2026

• Time: 3:00 PM–6:00 PM (UAE time)

• Venue: Virtual

Competition Requirements:

Participants are expected to develop a technical solution addressing family well-being or everyday needs using AI tools. The submission should include:

• A working prototype

• A presentation

• A video pitch

• A project report

Registration:

Interested students are requested to send the below details to Mrs. Sunitha M(sunitha.m@seps-auh.org) by Tuesday, 20th October, 2026.

Awards and Recognition:

All participants will receive certificates. The top ten schools will be eligible for the College of Engineering Top Ten Tournament Award. Participating schools may also receive social media coverage and recognition.

Prize Money:

• Cycle 2 Track: First Prize – AED 1,500; Second Prize – AED 1,000; Third Prize – AED 750.

• Cycle 3 Track: First Prize – AED 2,500; Second Prize – AED 1,500; Third Prize – AED 1,000.

• Advanced Track: First Prize – AED 3,000; Second Prize – AED 2,000; Third Prize – AED 1,250.

Interested students are requested to contact the Computer Science Department at the earliest for further guidance and participation details.

We encourage our students to take advantage of this opportunity to showcase their creativity, programming abilities, and innovative thinking while using AI to develop meaningful solutions for families and society.
