PN 423---GREEN Olympiad 2024 [GRADE 4-12]

                                                          Greetings! We are glad to inform you that our school has been invited to participate in the prestigious environment examination. The Energy & Resources Institute (TERI) announces the Commencement of the GREEN Olympiad 2024, an annual examination (MCQ) that aims to engage students in learning about our environment, fostering a sense of stewardship, and promoting eco-consciousness.

This initiative is organized with endorsement from the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change and the Ministry of Education, Government of India.
Details of GREEN Olympiad:
Date: The Green Olympiad will be conducted on 20th November 2024.

Venue: The examination will be conducted offline in the the school premises.

Eligibility: All students from classes 4 to 12 are eligible to participate.

Preparatory Material: Resource Booklet will be provided to aid students in their preparation.

Fee: If you wish to enroll your ward in the competition,
Kindly submit a registration fee of 40AED to the respective class teacher.

Certificates and Cash Prizes:
1. Top Performers: The highest-scoring students in each Level will receive cash prizes.
2. Certificates: All participants will receive certificates. The categories of
certificates are as follows:
i) Certificate of Participation: Scores from 0 – 59%
ii) Certificate of Merit: Students who score from 60 – 79%
iii) Certificate of Distinction: 80% and above
iv) Certificate of Excellence: Rank holders
3. School Recognition: Top-performing schools and schools with highest
registration will also receive certificates of excellence and cash prizes.

PN 422--Bharat on the Moon Portal

Respected Parents and Students,

                                                Students and teachers are encouraged to to utilise the updated and revamped Bharat on the Moon portal for exposure to  STEM ideas related to space, inspirational stories about our scientific heroes, creative thinking, etc.

With an improved User Interface/ User Experience, BharatOnTheMoon Portal has many new features.

1. Account creation requirements have been removed for faster and easier user participation.
2. Personalized login is no longer necessary, making the portal accessible to all new users.
3. Data acquisition for quiz certification is requested only before quiz participation to customise and make age appropriate. Questions of appropriate difficulty level (Preparatory, Middle and Secondary students) will be generated.
4. Activities (Art Connect, Puzzles, Novels, and Special Modules) are now accessible via separate links.
5. Chandrayaan Utsav modules have been updated to support 20 languages.  Bodo, Konkani and Santhali  translation is in progress.
6. The quiz is available in 10 languages.

This collective effort is pivotal in upholding student safety and preempting potential accidents.
