PN709-- Arab Reading Challenge - 8th Edition [Grade 4-9 and 11]

Respected Parents and Students, 

                                                       Arabic Reading is the most intimate, personal, spontaneous form of expression of any language. Arabic Reading aims at preparing students in reading and creative skills and students will identify new vocabulary meaning of several reading scripts, and recognize reading ways from the Arab world.

The department of Arabic is providing a challenging opportunity for all students to participate in the Arab Reading Challenge.

CONDUCT AND RULES OF THE COMPETITION:

 All students are eligible to participate in this challenge.

1. The students download the e-passports from the website with the assistance of a supervisor (starting from the red passport to the gold passport), then to be qualified for the first qualifiers according to guide).

  2- Students should read 25 books and summarize it.

  3  Participants have to complete the Reading within the time limit

  4 It will be judged on the basis of clarity, creativity reading , Fast reading and overall presentation

Starting next academic year, we are implementing a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) initiative at our school for Grade 3-9 students. This means that students will be encouraged to bring their personal electronic devices, such as laptops or tablets, to enhance their learning experience in the classroom.

BYOD offers several advantages, including increased access to educational resources, personalized learning opportunities, and improved collaboration among students. We believe that integrating personal devices into the learning environment will prepare our students for the digital age and foster a more interactive and dynamic classroom experience.

To ensure a smooth transition and gather valuable insights from our parent community, we have created a brief survey to understand your thoughts, concerns, and preferences regarding the BYOD program. Your input is crucial in shaping the implementation of this initiative to meet the needs and expectations of both parents and students.

PN 688--KSC Youth Festival 2024 ( Arts & Literary Fest )-Grade 1-9 and 11

Respected Parents and Students,

                                                   Kerala Social Centre (KSC Abu Dhabi) is one of the Registered Organizations functioning in Abu Dhabi since 1972 under the guidance of the Ministry of Community Development. We are conducting various cultural and sports events reaching out to the entire UAE especially in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. Kerala Social Centre is dedicated to promote social and cultural harmony with other communities to build the awareness, creation, exhibition, and performance of Indian and cross-cultural art forms in Abu Dhabi.

KSC has always promoted young talents and provided opportunities for showcasing their skills in various Art forms. In order to encourage them, we are conducting Youth Festivals (Arts & Literary Competitions) where the children from various schools across UAE will be participating. The current year Youth Festival will be held on 21^st (Literary Fest), 26^th, 27^th & 28^th January 2024. More than 500 children from different Emirates of UAE are expected to participate in these competitions. A large number of spectators from different parts of UAE are expected to view the YUVAJANOTSAVAM.

In view of the above, we are attaching the YUVAJANOTSAVAM 2024 registration form which specifies all the terms and conditions in regards to the above said event.
